Created with a lenticular panel so as to form a moving image, Medieval Village #1 is a print by Julian Opie from 2019 and is typical of his simplified, graphic style. The print shows an image of a medieval castle with three spires and two arches, depicted in grey, black and white.
Throughout his career, Opie has produced many images that convey a sense of movement and dynamism in the form of static prints, paintings, sculpture, and moving images.
